REBECCA STORM
Rebecca Storm was born in Yorkshire. Her early career began as a nightclub and cabaret singer but her versatility and evident acting ability brought her to the forefront as a solo artist and musical star. Rebecca has since taken leading roles in top musicals in the West End, on UK tour and in Ireland where she has now become something of a cult figure. Such leading roles have included Blood Brothers (UK tour/Ireland), Evita (UK tour/Ireland--Spring 1989) which opened at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, in February 1987, Joan of Arc at Sadler's Wells, in addition to the female lead in Les Miserables which she played for 18 months at the Palace Theatre, London. Last summer, Rebecca was guest star in the Freddie Starr Show in Bournemouth which was a tremendous success, playing to an audience of 3,000 per show! Her television roles have included appearances on all major UK variety shows, the starring role as Tanya in the BBC TV rock opera of the same name, top of the bill in Live From the Olympia (RTE) and Top of the Pops. Her gold discs have included the Ovation Album--Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Rebecca Storm Sings Blood Brothers and Broadway by Storm.
