JACQUEY CHAPPELL
Jacquey Chappell was born in London and trained at the Bush Davies School in Essex, eventually joining the Guildhall School of Music to study singing, piano and clarinet. She made her West End debut in this theatre taking over the title role in Cinderella from Twiggy. This was followed by a long run in Harold Prince's production of <(>A Little Night Music at the Adelphi Theatre playing Mrs. Segstrom. She has played in many repertory theatres including Birmingham, Perth, Dundee, Northampton, Canterbury, and Bristol where she appeared as Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls. Her most recent repertory work was at Nottingham Playhouse, this time playing Countess Charlotte in A Little Night Music. Her radio and television work includes principal roles in Let's Celebrate, Songs for Sunday, Sexton Blake and the Demon God and All the Fun of the Fair.
Like many of the prior alternate Evas, Jacquey took over the starring role in the show.
