Daniel Benzali

DANIEL BENZALI

Daniel Benzali was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His work on Broadway earned him a Drama Desk Award nomination from New York theatre critics. Leading Broadway roles have included Amshel in The Rothschilds, Shakespeare and Feste in Music Is, Clichy in King of Hearts and Bulldog Allen in Dance with Me. In London, he has been a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, playing in Piaf and Once in a Lifetime. Also he appeared at the original Half Moon Theatre where he played the Anarchist Kropotkin in Ripper and Touchwood Senior in A Chaste Maid in Cheapside. His recent film and television credits include playing Col. Glen Spurling in The Last Days of Patton, Lieut. Col. Lehane in Defence of the Realm, Howe in A View to a Kill, Dr. Asher in White Nights and the Theatrical Agent in Insignificance, all of which were made in Britain.
