GARY BOND
Gary Bond got his first break playing Pip in John Dexter's production of Chips with Everything which subsequently went to New York. Other notable theatre credits include On the Level at the Saville Theatre; Arms and the Man for Prospect; Much Ado About Nothing; Ghosts with the Cambridge Theatre Company; Noel Coward's Tonight At 8 at Hampstead, transferring to the Fortune Theatre; Joseph in the original production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from the Edinburgh Festival to the Albery Theatre.
E. A. Whithead's Old Flames at the Bristol Old Vic, transferring with this production to the Arts. In 1976 he played in The Zikovs and The Iceman Cometh with the RSC and the world premiere of Anouilh's The Scenario in Canada; played Brutus in Julius Caesar; a one-man show Lord Byron at Chichester Festival and Alice's Boys with Ralph Richardson at the Savoy. His television credits include Pip in Great Expectations; Variations on a Theme; Boswell in Highland Jaunt; starred in the series Frontier; The Duchess of Malfi; The Linden Tree; Affairs of the Heart; The Main Chance; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Wings of Song. Films: Zulu, Anne of a Thousand Days and Outback.
