PAGAN LOVE SONG

© 1929
Lyrics: Arthur Freed, Music: Nacio Herb Brown
Written as the theme song of the 1929 MGM film, The Pagan, sung by Ramon Novarro. Bob Hope also used it in his vaudeville act the same year. The song gave its title to MGM's 1950 film Pagan Love Song, starring Esther Williams and Howard Keel, sung by Williams.

CD:

Where the golden sunbeams
And the lazy land dreams
All the happy years thru
You'll belong to me and I to you

Come with me where moonbeams
Light Tahitian skies
And the starlit waters
Linger in your eyes

Native hills are calling
To them we belong
And we'll cheer each other
With the Pagan Love Song
