This touring company was supposed to go to Broadway, launching a major revival, but after nearly a year on the
road in 20 cities, it closed. The official website for the production announced that the tour would resume and then open in
New York, but it never did and the website was shut down. Though many people reported to various news
groups that they enjoyed the show and cast, reviews were mostly negative across the country. All the programs
and advertisements for this tour featured a model, not Natalie Toro or anyone who had played the role.
